Western Bulldogs – 2016
The 2016 AFL season went down as the 120th season of the Australian Rules Football. Eighteen teams were battling out for the top prize. But it all ended with the Western Bulldogs and the Sydney Swans competing in the finals. The Western Bulldogs were lucky enough to win their first premiership in 62 years, beating the Swans by 22 points.
Richmond Football Club – 2017
In 2017, the AFL Grand Final was contested between Richmond and Adelaide football clubs. With more than 100, 000 spectators on the stands, Richmond emerged victorious by a margin of 48 points. This victory marked the club’s 11th premiership win. It was also the first since 1980.
West Coast- 2018
2018’s AFL premiership was a contest between the West Coast Eagles and the Collingwood Football Club. With more than 100, 000 fans following the action, the West Coast Eagles won the contest by a five-point margin. This victory was the club’s fourth AFL grand final win since 2006.
Richmond – 2019
The 2019 AFL Grand Final featured Richmond Football Club and the GWS Giants. And on this day, everything seemed to be in Richmond’s favour who emerged victorious with an 89-point margin. This was the second title in three years, thanks to Norm Smith, who was voted as the best player on the pitch.
